What It Is

#3: erena - 30 July, 2009 - 10:25

At an exhibition or in class is usually required to display graphics, slides or use other web pages in conjunction with SL. In SL, it is sometimes difficult to do this because of lack of time or permissions, or simply because the audience does not know how to use notecards or screens. To avoid unnecessary interruptions and to run parallel workshops, the Menu Web Browser  opens the desired page (CMAPs, video, blog, wiki, slides etc) with a single click.   It's convenient, quick to prepare and everyone can make progress without wasting time.

Target User

#4: erena - 30 July, 2009 - 10:25

Anyone using several synchronous or non-synchronous tools whilst navigating in SL.

What It Does

#5: erena - 30 July, 2009 - 10:25

It redirects the student to a choice of 10 URLs which the user previously customises.

How It Works

#6: erena - 30 July, 2009 - 10:25

The user can add 10 URLs to their browser and once the tool is rezzed a menu appears which displays all URLs which can be opened in SL or in a separate window.

Experience of Tool

Given that the SL browser has a limited view, I prefer to have access to a full page on the website.
