TechSoup are organising an event: Using Virtual Worlds and Emerging Technologies for People with Disabilities (see http://www.techsoup.org/go/accessibletechnology) on Friday 29^th November, from 9.00 am PST, in-world (SL) then a asynchronous discussion. It seems like it will be a good event, and should give ideas of good practice.
